Giovedì il Comitato Parlamentare per un Iran Democratico ha tenuto una conferenza dal titolo “Iran 2019: prospettive”, durante la quale è stato richiesto all’Unione Europea di adottare una politica decisa per quanto riguarda le minacce terroristiche del regime iraniano ed il deterioramento dei diritti umani. L’incontro, tenutosi nella Sala Colbert, è stato inaugurato dal deputato francese André Chassaigne, che ha espresso la sua preoccupazione circa la situazione di diritti umani in Iran, definendola “catastrofica”, ed ha attirato l’attenzione sulle oltre 3.600 esecuzioni avvenute in Iran sotto la presidenza di Hassan Rouhani.
