Corruption by state-run Iranian vehicle manufacturers trigger more protests

Protests by customers of Iran Khodro On Wednesday, more than 200 customers of state-run Iran Khodro vehicle manufacturer held demonstrations in front of the offices of the Ministry of Industry. The demonstrators, who had registered in advance to purchase vehicles at discount prices, are protesting against unfair practices and the increase of prices against commitments made by the manufacturer. According to the protesters, the state-run vehicle manufacturer has raised the price of its vehicles by as much as 50 percent. The protesters were chanting slogans against the managers of the company and were calling for judicial actions against them. In the past months, many people have registered to purchase vehicles from Iran Khodro and Saipa, two of the largest auto manufacturers of Iran. Azad University’s bus accident, another manifestation of the Iranian regime’s corruption and incompetency

An accident involving one of the busses of Tehran's Azad University left 10 dead and dozens injured  On Tuesday, December 25, 2018, a bus carrying students from the Science and Research unit of Tehran’s Azad University veered off a steep, mountainous road and crashed into a cement block, causing the death of 10 passengers and injuring 28 others. This was an incident that could’ve been avoided, had the Iranian regime provided its universities with better vehicles and maintenance services. The Azad University incident is not a one-off incident. It’s the manifestation of the awful state of Iran’s roads as well as the substandard equipment of its universities, both the result of four decades of corruption and mismanagement at the highest levels of power in the mullahs’ regime. Iran’s Rouhani acknowledges money-laundering, corruption

Iran regime FM, Javad Zarif is under fire from MPs for admitting of money laundering in Iran  As the Iranian regime’s internal disputes flare into crisis mode over remarks made recently by Iranian regime Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif over money laundering skyrocketing in recent weeks, Iranian regime President Hassan Rouhani also acknowledged this reality by saying such cases of money laundering has become common in Iran. All the while, Sadegh Amoli Larijani, head of the regime’s so-called judiciary and a figure very close to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, described such revelations as a “dagger in the heart” of the mullahs’ regime. The regime’s parliament, known as the Majlis, is weighing the possibility of impeaching Zarif, Larijani added.
