Iran’s IRGC Directly Ordering Missile Launches in Yemen, Opposition Group Claims

As the administration on Monday showed foreign ambassadors alleged evidence of links between Iran and ballistic missiles fired into Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels in Yemen, an Iranian opposition group said it has received reports that the launches are occurring under the “direct orders” of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Yemen rebel missile fired at Riyadh 'bears hallmarks' of Iran

Houthi media released images of the missile it says was fired towards Saudi Arabia  A missile fired from Yemen at the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, bears the hallmarks of a weapon provided by Iran, the US ambassador to the UN has said. Nikki Haley said Iran's actions threatened to drag the world 'deeper into a broadening regional conflict'. The missile was shot down by Saudi Arabia's military on Tuesday. There were no reports of any damage. Iran denies arming Houthi rebels in Yemen who are fighting Yemen's government and a Saudi-led coalition. The Houthis' Al Masirah TV reported that a Burkan H2 ballistic missile had been targeted at a royal palace in Riyadh. The officials travelled to Saudi Arabia to examine the debris of missiles fired on July 22 and November 4, wrote UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in the fourth biannual report on the implementation of UN sanctions and restrictions on Iran. They found 'that the missiles had similar structural and manufacturing features which suggest a common origin,' said Guterres in the Friday report to the UN Security Council, seen by Reuters on Saturday.
