General strike of Bazaar, shops, merchant and truck drivers  Reports of a variety of protests are coming from cities and towns across Iran. Truck drivers across Iran are continuing their nationwide strike for the 12 th  consecutive day on Monday. This movement has now expanded to 75 cities in 25 of Iran’s 31 provinces. Iranian protesters chant anti-regime slogans at the old grand bazaar in Tehran Today, Monday, June 25th, Bazaar merchants and shopkeepers in various parts of Tehran went on strike in protest of the collapse of the currency and unprecedented recession. They rallied toward the Baharestan square and gathered in front of the Majlis (parliament). They chanted slogans: Death to the dictator; Let go of Syria, think about us; Our enemy is right here, but they falsely claim (our enemy) is the US; Death to high prices; We shall die, but we do not accept humiliation; Zealous marketers, support, support. Every day, the Iranian regime is creating grounds for new protests to take place in the country Iran, May 24, 2018  - In December, protests that erupted in the eastern city of Mashhad over unemployment, poverty and government corruption quickly turned into a nationwide protest across Iran. Although the regime brutally cracked down on the protesters, tensions continued to simmer and manifest themselves in smaller yet constant protests in other parts of the country. Last week, the protests in Kazerun, which had begun about  a few months earlier  over the government’s plans to divide the city into smaller areas, turned into clashes between the government and people when security forces attacked and killed several of the protesters. As the Kazerun protests showed, the social climate across the entirety of Iran is tense, and chances that uprisings reoccur are very high.
