Series of protests reported across Iran

Strikes, protests in the cities of Tehran, Karaj, Dezful, Neyshabur, Borujerd & Shush – Iran As the mullahs’ regime seeks to at least temporarily recover from the resignation crisis of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad  Zarif , protests are being reported by people from all walks of life throughout the country. In Karaj, west of Tehran, rail workers rallied to express their protests over not being paid for several months and strongly criticizing officials’ hollow promises. Shahroud,  Karaj, Qazvin, Tabriz and other cities across Iran witnessing protests on Tuesday  As living conditions continue to become more difficult and more than 80 percent of Iranians are living in  poverty , protests by people from all walks of life are  mushrooming  across the country. Employees of a ball-bearing factory in  Tabriz , northwest Iran, rallied on Tuesday protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past four months. This is the country’s largest ball-bearing factory. Karaj – Students showing support for their teachers’ strike across Iran In a new development, U.S. State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert voiced support for the Iranian teachers’ nationwide strike sweeping across the country on Sunday and Monday. In Iran, schools are open from Saturday to Thursday, and closed only on Fridays. We are following the reports of nationwide strikes in  #Iran . We support the right of the Iranian people to peacefully express their rightful demands.
