WHO ARE THE MEK? PART 4

Image
INU - The majority of people across the world recognise that the Iranian Regime is a violent, totalitarian, dictatorship with no respect for the rights of its people or the rest of the world. However, those people wrongly claim that the Iranian Regime has no viable alternative and that it is, therefore, acceptable to continue doing business with them. The thing is that the Regime has a viable alternative in the form of the oldest, largest, and most popular resistance organization in Iran, which has fought two separate regimes since it was founded in 1965. That is the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK). In order to help you earn more about the MEK, we have created an in-depth series. In this part, we will learn about how the MEK uses TV to spread their message to the Iranian people. While the MEK must always operate in secret for fear of arrest, torture, and execution, the MEK has managed to keep a large public profile in Iran for many years because of its satellite televisi...

THE MEK’S 10-POINT PLAN FOR A FREE IRAN

Image
INU - The end is near for the Iranian Regime. Every day, the mullahs are besieged by more crises on both a domestic, regional, and international level. It is clear they cannot survive much longer, as support for the despicable theocracy wanes by the day. And while support for the mullahs is ever-diminishing, support for the Iranian Resistance group, the  People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), headed by Maryam Rajavi, is only growing. The majority of the Iranian people and the Iranian diaspora support the MEK and would encourage world leaders to do the same. Currently, Iran is experiencing dire floods that, as of writing, have killed almost 300, but the Iranian Regime has failed to send in rescue workers with aid. Instead, they sent in the suppressive security forces with guns. People have been shot dead for trying to protect their families, homes, and businesses from a natural disaster. Many more have died because the Regime failed to fund disaster rel...

In  Urmia , northwest Iran, members of resistance units put up signs quoting Mrs.  Maryam Rajavi , President of the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ). The PMOI/MEK is a member of the NCRI coalition. Members of Resistance Unit 667 in  Shiraz , central Iran, and Abadan, southwest Iran, put up signs in Farsi and English quoting the NCRI President’s views about women. How to Deal With Iran Regime Terrorism Against MEK

Image
A Middle East analyst and counter security expert has issued a white paper on the Iranian regime’s terrorist activities on European soil, outlining how the main target of the Regime’s aggression is the Iranian Resistance, specifically the People’s Mujahedin Organisation of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ). Claude Moniquet’s in-depth report, entitled “The Recent Iranian Terrorist Plots in Europe”, examines how the Regime uses terrorism to distract the world from its many crises, including a domestic uprising at home, and punish the MEK for leading the uprising and exposing the Regime’s many flaws to the international community. In the 35-page document, published in February 2019, Moniquet wrote: “In 2018, the Iranian regime, facing a domestic uprising, collapsing economy, and international sanctions, took the decision to step up terrorism on European and US soil against the Iranian opposition movement [MEK].” He explains that the Regime plotted two terrorist attacks against the MEK in 2018; o...

MEK MEMBER BASHES FALSE CLAIM THAT SHE IS HELD HOSTAGE

Image
INU- The Iranian Regime and its cronies often try to paint their legitimate opposition, the People’s Mujahedin Organisation of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ), as a cult that brainwashes its members and refuses to let them leave their Albanian headquarters. Nothing could be further from the truth. Canadian-Iranian  Somayeh Mohammadi , a MEK member for over 20 years has spoken out about claims from her own parents that she is being kept at the MEK headquarters, named  Ashraf 3  after the group’s first camp near the Iran-Iraq border. Somayeh, 38, said: “When I wanted to leave Canada and join the [MEK] movement my parents (Mostafa and Mahboubeh) gave me their consent to do this.” But then, for some unknown reason, Mostafa changed his mind. Somayeh said: “[My dad] came many times in Iraq … around  Camp Ashraf  and installed 320 loudspeakers [through which they shouted abuse and played very loud music 24 hours a day]. My father was one of them. They threatened to kill all...

THE IRAN REGIME’S WAR ON THE MEK

Image
The Iranian regime’s psychological war against the members of PMOI/MEK has ramped up, and is now turning family members against each other through threats, deception and bribery. In  an article  published on January 17th in the Scottish newspaper, The National, MEK member Somayeh Mohammadi was interviewed. Ms. Mohammadi resides in Ashraf 3, the MEK’s headquarters in Tirana, Albania. She joined the MEK from Canada 20 years ago. Her parents, in collusion with the Iranian regime’s security and intelligence apparatus, have been following her, and telling local authorities that the MEK has been holding their daughter against her will. The parents have now come to Albania to file complaints against the MEK, claiming that their daughter is being held hostage by the Iranian opposition. However, Ms. Mohammadi told the Scottish newspaper, “When I wanted to leave Canada and join the [PMOI] movement my parents gave me their consent to do this.” Ms. Mohammadi also says that her fa...

THE MEK EXPLAIN WHY EU SHOULD EXPEL IRAN’S DIPLOMATS

Image
INU- Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok recently revealed the role that the Iranian Regime played in two assassinations that took place in 2015 and 2017 in the Netherlands. The Dutch Foreign Ministry said in a statement it had “strong indications that Iran was involved in the assassinations” but that it kept the matter hidden “in the interests of facilitating this common EU action against Iran”. In 2018, the Dutch government also expelled two Iranian diplomats from the country but refused to say whether the decision was linked to the assassinations. This led to the first EU sanctions against the Iranian Regime since the 2015 nuclear deal was signed three years ago, which were welcomed by an Iranian Resistance group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The MEK said in a statement that this is a “positive but important step in the face of the regime’s state terrorism”. You see, this was no rogue agent ordering an isolated hit. It is simply how the Iranian R...

THE IRAN REGIME'S TORTURE TARGETING THE MEK

Image
It is well known that throughout its four decades in power, the Iranian Regime has used torture against its own people, specifically dissidents, but a new report shines a light on just how widespread their torture is and specifically focuses on its use against the Iranian Resistance group, the People’s Mujahedin Organisation of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ). The Regime has always denied using torture, but the report specifically highlighted how flogging – a sentence so entrenched in the Iranian judicial system that it is handed down for nearly 150 “crimes” in Iran, including political activism by groups like the MEK – is considered a form of torture under international law. Iran Human Rights Monitor explained that in the first half of 2018, 47 people were sentenced to flogging and six people were flogged. The report also highlighted how physical and psychological torture is routinely used in interrogations to force “confessions” from prisoners; something that began in the 1980s. The Iran...

IRAN REGIME FEARS OVER PEACE SUMMIT EXPOSES FEAR OF MEK

Image
INU- The Iranian Regime has been publically fuming over the ministerial summit on peace and security in the Middle East since US secretary of state Mike Pompeo announced it last Friday. Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif called the summit “disappointing” and “anti-Iranian circus”, according to Iranian state-run television, even criticising Poland for hosting the event. While Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, referred to the summit as a form of “psychological warfare”, which would be a “losing battle” for the US, and asked for the Regime to provide a “decisive response” to Poland, something “beyond a simple complaint”. This is to be expected because Iran is still reeling from the recent European sanctions levied against it for terrorist activity on the Green Continent and the significant delay in Europe actually creating the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to maintain trade with Iran despite US...

Iran’s Heightened Fears of MEK Dissidents Are a Sign of Changing Times

Image
Iran has been the center of international attention in 2018. In light of unprecedented, continuous protests and strikes at home, a faltering economy, growing regional and international isolation, and the imposition of massive US sanctions, there are growing signs that the  status quo  has become untenable and the regime is finding it much more difficult to contain the situation. The theocratic regime’s new onslaught against its opponents, most notably against the principal opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran or Mujahedin-e-Khalq (PMOI/MEK), is a serious indicator of changing times in Iran. In addition to domestic repression, the multi-faceted campaign against the MEK entails terror plots in the West and massive disinformation and demonization in the media and on the Internet. Continuation of protests: The new Iran The most defining aspect of Iran in 2018 has been the continuation of anti-government protests. The wave of protests that started in the l...

Iranian MP: The MEK is part of the Warsaw puzzle against Tehran

Image
Iranian MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi Alaeddin Borujerdi, a senior member of Majlis (parliament), is the latest in a series of high-profile Iranian regime officials to warn about the upcoming conference in Warsaw, Poland, in which the U.S. will host officials from several countries to discuss the destructive role of the Iranian regime in the Middle East. Like his peers, Borujerdi is revealing his true fears. “[PMOI/MEK] is part of the American puzzle against the Islamic Republic in the Warsaw security conference. Recently, we’ve seen European countries take measures against the Islamic Republic under pressure from the U.S.,” said Borujerdi, who previously served as the Chairman of the Foreign Policy and National Security of the parliament and is a close confidant to Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Among the measures Borujerdi warns against is the relocation of members of PMOI/MEK from Iraq to Albania and recent measures by European countries to counter the terrorist activ...
