Iran provides nearly $30 million to Iraq, Syria for rebuilding shrines

Image
The regime in Iran is providing millions to Iraq & Syria while millions are suffering from floods inside Iran It has been more than a month since the devastating  floods  in Iran has washed away more than half of the country’s lands and leaving the lives of more than 11 million people in two third of the country’s provinces in ruins. While there is a desperate need for state funds to help the people and provide at least basic necessities, some state-run media reported on Saturday that the clerical regime ruling Iran has paid 1.2 trillion rials (equal to about $30 million) to  Iraq  and  Syria  under the pretext of rebuilding shrines in those two countries. The head of one of the regime’s corrupt institution, the “Department for Rebuilding Sacred Shrines,” acknowledged the amount. By calling it propaganda against the state, he reacted to the growing popular hatred of spending so much on the regime’s extraterritorial projects while people in floode...

Iran Used US to Destroy Iraq

Image
The Iranian government used George W. Bush and Barack Obama to promote its own interests and now Donald Trump is left to deal with the fallout. Bush was warned that Iran was the major threat in the Middle East, not Iraq; that the mullahs would make life hell for US troops if he invaded Iran; and that Iran wanted to take control of Iraq. But why? Well, Iraq was home to a group exiled from Iran, the People’s Mujahadeen of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ), who were fighting for a free Iran. The MEK has been a great threat to the continued rule of the mullahs since the early 1980s, which is why they’ve executed over 120,000 MEK members and smeared them as terrorists in the Western media. So when tensions between Iraq and the US flared up, Iran saw its opportunity. They used Ahmad Chalabi, an Iran-backed Iraqi politician, fed the US misleading information about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction and offered to help the US meet with the head of Iran’s intelligence service. This led to the bom...

Faleh Fayad, the head of the Iraqi Hashd-al Shaabi, Popular Mobilization Force (PMF)  Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has sacked National Security Advisor Faleh Fayad, also head of the Iranian regime-backed Shiite militias, Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd Al-Shabi), due to his political activities, according to the media. The Prime Ministry issued a statement on Thursday announcing Fayad’s involvement in political activities, party-related work and his intention to gain political posts were the reasons behind his sacking. This was in contrast to his sensitive security responsibilities, the statement adds. This sacking is based on the Iraqi constitution and officials in the security, intelligence, judiciary and the PMF must remain neutral and non-biased, the statement continues. In response, the Fat’h coalition consisting of Iranian regime-related groups issued a statement in the late hours of Thursday saying this sacking of Fayad from the PMF leadership, the co...

Members of the militias, sponsored by the IRGC, appear in the video expressing anger at the delay of their wages. The move pushed commentators to warn of the movements of these militias, saying their foremost aim is to undermine Iraq's security. They added the continued demands of disbursing the delayed payment will add new burdens to the exhausted budget of Iraq. Understanding IRGC’s long-term goals in Iraq

The commander of IRGC’s Quds Force, Qasem Soleimani, said that the IRGC “had been working around the clock to arm the PMU” after its establishment. Al-Arabiya, 21 July 2017  - “I announce from here the end and failure and the collapse of the terrorist state of falsehood and terrorism which the terrorist Da’esh (ISIS) announced from Mosul,” the Iraqi Prime Minister declared on state television recently. Following a three-year long blitz, Iraqi forces with the support of the international coalition, have now defeated ISIS in Mosul, despite all challenges and sectarian disputes. But the defeat of ISIS has created a vacuum and there are some hard questions about Shi’ite militias such as the People Mobilization Units (PMU) that must be answered. This is particularly important because the PMU was established because of the sectarian divisions in Iraq. But what role will the PMU play in the future of Iraq? Who will control and command the PMU? It is a known fact that some...
