Saudi Arabia says Iran and Hezbollah agents behind missile attacks

Jubeir says Iran and Hezbollah agents launched missiles from Houthi territory  Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir accused 'Iranian and Hezbollah agents' of launching ballistic missiles at the kingdom on Monday, reserving his country's right to respond at the 'appropriate time and place'. Saudi Arabia demands Iran be held accountable for missile supply to Houthis

The letter was submitted by Abdullah Al-Muallami, the kingdom’s permanent representative at the UN  Saudi Arabia submitted a letter to the UN Security Council regarding the Iranian ballistic missiles which the Houthis fired towards the kingdom and demanded holding Iran accountable for supplying the Houthis with ballistic missiles. Saudi Arabia also called on the UN Security Council to bear its responsibilities to maintain international security and stability. The letter which was submitted by Abdullah Al-Muallami, the kingdom’s permanent representative at the UN, to the UN security general and to the president of the UN Security Council, comes a day before Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman meets with UN Security General Antonio Guterres.

Iran’s IRGC Directly Ordering Missile Launches in Yemen, Opposition Group Claims

As the administration on Monday showed foreign ambassadors alleged evidence of links between Iran and ballistic missiles fired into Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels in Yemen, an Iranian opposition group said it has received reports that the launches are occurring under the “direct orders” of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Citing sources inside the regime and the IRGC, the exiled Iranian opposition group National Council of Resistance of Iran/People’s Mujahedeen Organization of Iran (  NCRI  /MEK) said the reports indicate that the missiles are being manufactured at factories affiliated to the IRGC’s aerospace division.  “According to these sources, the Houthis received training from IRGC and the Lebanese Hezbollah on how to handle and use the missiles,” the group said in a report, which also identified shipping companies s...
