IRGC seizes workers’ property unlawfully
Workers of Pegah Dairy Industries held a gathering in protest to IRGC's unlawful land confiscation Workers of Pegah Dairy Industries Company held their second protesting gathering on December 8, 2018, in front of the regime’s judiciary building. The workers had previously held demonstrations in September. The workers held signs that read, “We the workers are ashamed to tell our children the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has seized our property.” 20 years ago, the company had handed over 150,000 cubic meters of land in Tehranpars district, eastern Tehran, to 700 Pegah Co. workers for residential purposes. Workers say that the land is what they have put their years of life on– the workers had sold many of their belongings during the past years in hope to have a roof above their head, but now they have to live in rental homes, losing a big share of their wages.
