Fire Festival celebrations across Iran turned into protest movement against mullahs’ regime

Secretariat of the national council of Resistance of Iran In spite of widespread repressive measures, the people and the youth in different Iranian cities turned  Chaharshanbe Suri  (Fire Festival) ceremonies into protest movement against the mullahs’ regime. The protests come at a time when Khamenei, afraid of popular protest movements, had affirmed in a ridiculous fatwa that “ Chaharshanbe Suri  (Fire Festival) has no religious basis and if leads to damage or corruption or propagation of false beliefs, not permitted.” In addition, henchmen of the mullahs regime’s judiciary had warned in various cities that they would deal severely with “those in violation.” In Tehran and a number of cities like Kermanshah, Mashad, Karaj, Masjed Soleiman, Khoramabad, Semnan, Ilam, and Mahshahr the youth shouted: “death to Khamenei, death to the principle of Velayat-e-faqih, death to the dictator, with you dictator we would fight fire with fire”. Strike and protest gatherings in a verity of cities in Iran   Reports from across indicate people from all walks of life across Iran staged a variety of protests and strikes on Wednesday, making their demands heard loud and clear and continuing to protest the regime’s destructive policies. Municipality employees in the town of Towheed in Ilam Province, western Iran, held a rally protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past six months. They were seen holding a large sign reading, “We the Towheed municipality employees have not received our paychecks for the past six months. Please see to our requests. We can no longer raise our heads before our families.” Around 200 workers of the Abadan Oil Refinery’s Repair Department, working under the framework of the Nasim-e Pak contracting company in the site’s central workshop, continued their strike for the second consecutive day. U.S. national security advisor: Iran still in the grip of a radical theology

U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton  On March 10, in an interview with ABC News, U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton talked about the terrorist threat of the Iranian regime and said: “For those who’ve said, for example, that the terrorist threat from Iran – those who’ve said in the years since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, 40 years now, the ideology will fade, they’ll just become normal nation again like everybody else, that hasn’t been true in Iran. In  Urmia , northwest Iran, members of resistance units put up signs quoting Mrs.  Maryam Rajavi , President of the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ). The PMOI/MEK is a member of the NCRI coalition. Members of Resistance Unit 667 in  Shiraz , central Iran, and Abadan, southwest Iran, put up signs in Farsi and English quoting the NCRI President’s views about women.
