Security forces attacked a peaceful teachers’ gathering today in the central city of Isfahan with tear gas and pepper spray. Reports on social media indicate that as many as 40 to 50 teachers were detained in the gathering, though the figures are still not exact.    From the very beginning of the gathering outside the city’s Education Department, security forces and riot police were dispatched to the area and shot tear gas into the peaceful teachers’ gathering. Iran: Credit firm clients continuing their protests, demands

Protests in numerous cities of Iran   As gatherings by people from all walks of life continue across Iran, protesting poor living conditions and skyrocketing prices, clients of state-run credit firms are continuing to voice demands and seeking their stolen money returned. Clients of the Caspian credit firm, known to be associated directly to the Revolutionary Guards ( IRGC ), rallied in Rasht, northern Iran, on Wednesday, protesting how their life savings have been plundered by the notorious institution. “They betray us and no one answers,” was among the slogans chanted by these protesters.
