Maryam Rajavi praises role of US Senate in supporting Iranian uprising

 The NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi praised the role of US Senators in supporting Iranian people, People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) website reported on Saturday.
'I would like to express my appreciation for your attention to the situation in Iran and the Iranian people’s uprising against the mullahs’ religious fascism', she said in her message to the US Senate meeting on “Democracy and Human Rights in Iran
Today, it is universally accepted that the clerical dictatorship is responsible for gross human rights violations in Iran, she added.
The regime is also recognized as an immediate threat to global peace and security.
She condemned the terrorist operations by the IRGC-backed militias in the region, through money laundering and financing terrorism, with its ballistic missile program in violation of the UN Security Council resolutions, and by taking hostage western citizens.
The people of Iran expect the international community to stand by them.
I thank you all very much, particularly the honorable US senators who have voiced support for the Iran uprising and for freedom and democracy, she concluded.

The Iranian regime's consulate building in Afghanistan  Fazal Rahman Khadem, the director of terrorism for the Police Headquarters of Herat, Afghanistan, revealed that the Iranian regime’s consulate is behind the murder of his brother. Fazil Rahman Khadem stated, “All the serial targeted attacks in Herat took place on the directives of Mahmood Afkhami Rashidi, the Iranian high consul general in the province.” Over 134 persons were arrested in connection with the targeted murders. “Most of the detainees confessed that they targeted iconic personalities and high-ranking security officials in Herat by the directives of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran’s security agents,” he added.
