Italy: Conference in support of the Iranian uprising, Resistance

The municipality of None in Piedmont Province of Italy
On the initiative of an invitation from the municipality of None in Piedmont Province of Italy, and in cooperation with the city university, a conference was held in the None Town Hall in support of the Iranian uprising and the people’s Resistance movement for freedom. The gathering also condemned human rights violations carried out by the mullahs’ regime.
Enzo Garrone, Mayor of None – “As the mayor of this city it is my great honor to see a session being held in this city and its town hall in support of the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom. From the news and reports that we receive one can easily understand that the Iranian people have risen to establish freedom from the ruling dictatorship, and they’re advancing down this path.
“The circumstances are very sensitive and we must stand alongside the Iranian people and support their organized resistance. Our governments must know that the freedom of the Iranian people is our freedom. It is our obligation to be the voice of the Iranian people today.”
Professor Valter Curaluzzo, foreign policy and international relations analyst of the University of Turin – “Due to its fundamentalist nature, the Iranian regime can never reform. The so-called moderates, such as [Iranian regime President Hassan] Rouhani are of the same dark-minded ideology. Therefore, the time has come to listen to the Iranian people chanting in the streets against the dictator, and to listen to the voice of the Iranian Resistance that has struggled for forty years to establish freedom.
“The daily expansion of the people’s protests and the uprising movement all indicate the overthrow of the regime ruling Iran. However, this time around, a popular, smart and powerful resistance intact will guarantee a democratic Iran in the future. The solution of freedom for Iran runs through an organized resistance with a specific agenda and a powerful leader. That is all available today.”
Alevio Rustanio, advisor to the Piedmont Province governor –I have come to know the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, and though this channel I got to know the truth about the Iranian people and what cruelty and oppression has been imposed on them by a religious dictatorship. I have come to realize that supporting the Iranian people and their Resistance for freedom is a moral and political obligation of all politicians across the globe. The appeasement policy practiced by European governments based on their relations and their trade interests is no longer effective. Today, the youths’ uprising, with support from the Resistance movement, has the world following its footsteps. There is hope that an alternative such as the NCRI exists to establish freedom in Iran.”
